So after three long, excruciating years of waiting for new music by Chromeo (following 2007's Fancy footwork), on September 13, 2010 we will able to enjoy their new album Business Casual.
I've listened to it and, let me tell you, it is above and beyond anything they've ever created before. Tracks like "Hot Mess," "I'm not contageous," and "When the night falls" among those previously released such as "Night by Night" and "Don't turn off the lights" will leave you sticky, sore, and tired from so much hip-shoulder action and hair flipping but that will only make you want more and more. Just when you think Chromeo can't outdo themselves...they just do! Dave1 and P-thugg come together to create a magical combination of 80's funk and today's techno beat. If you're a sucker for romantic ballads and funky songs with tons of gentleman-like swagger then Business Casuall is definitely for you.
And if you're like me, then you won't be able to wait until September 13th to listen to chromeo's amazingness. Don't worry, this duo thinks of all of us loyal funketeers...you can listen to it for free on the National Public Radio's website (NPR) by clicking......HERE (or on the picture if you're more of a visual person).
Enjoy and two-step your way through this album!
